The Open Door Christian Center exists to
see those who find themselves in life's
  tragic situations of homelessness,
  hopelessness and powerlessness due to
  addiction and abandonment to find
  power, deliverance, comfort and shelter
that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
The Open Door Christian Center targets
three areas of ministry: 1) Homelessness -
Emergency shelter for men, women and
women with children; 2) Addiction -
Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation for men
and women; 3) Hunger - Soup kitchen for
  the hungry.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to
drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you
looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. (Matthew 25:35-36)
